Visit CFD

Staff members are invited to visit the Center for Discovery sometime this week in order to earn division points.

If you complete the following assignment, you'll earn one point as an individual as well...

Your Assignment: Please ask one youth services librarian for the name of one of their favorite books, and why, and to post their first name and answer below. (No last names, please!)
Hone Your Cyber Skills: Visit the Card Catalog Generator and create your own card...

Miss Peacock was nowhere to be seen, but Michelle loved Harold and the Purple Crayon because Harold likes to draw and so does she. Ann loved Caps for Sale after Captain Kangaroo read it to her when she was very young.

Todd likes "A Birthday for Cow" by Jan Thomas, because it's delightfully silly! Whoever heard of a turnip in birthday cake??

Kathy, PMQ Connie and I visited CFD and discovered that CFD Connie's favorite picture book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar and her favorite children's chapter book is Everything on a Waffle.

Being the overacheivers we are, we learned that Ann's favorite picture book is Caps for Sale and her favorite children's book is The Witch of Blackbird Pond. We even cornered Martha and found out her two favorites are The Gardener by Sarah Stewart & David Small and The Rats of Numh. Johnny Tremaine was also mentioned.

We had a great time reminiscing in CFD.
